JOB TITLE: Experienced Beekeeper

LOCATION: Meningie, South Australia, Australia

POSITION STATUS: Full-time contract position for up to six months only (in the first instance) from September 2026 – March 2027 (negotiable).

SALARY: An above Australian Award rate salary commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful applicant will be offered. 

CONDITIONS: Most of the work will be conducted in an outdoor environment. Significant out-of-hours travel will be required during the season to shift hives to and from various pollination sites and food sources. Accommodation will be provided. There will also be opportunities to spend time visiting other unique properties owned by Coorong Apiaries in New South Wales and Western Australia after the beekeeping season is over (upon negotiation).

This position provides an excellent opportunity for a young, overseas experienced Beekeeper, who is eligible to obtain an Australian Work and Holiday Visa, to combine work with travel opportunities during their home ‘off-season’. This arrangement has the potential to be offered on an ongoing basis for three years, depending on personal and economic circumstances.

Local and interstate experienced Beekeepers are also strongly encouraged to apply.
