Coorong Apiaries is pleased to make available two huts for back-to-nature lovers on their magnificent Hillview and Rossmoine Properties near Emmaville, New South Wales.
‘We’ve had the privilege of staying at this property multiple times now, and it honestly gets better every trip. The country itself is absolutely stunning—classic New England terrain with a great mix of open ground and thicker cover that holds plenty of wild life.
One of the standout parts of the experience is the accommodation. We’ve stayed at both Frenchies Hut and Hillview Hut, and each offers something unique. Frenchies Hut is an absolutely beautiful stone cabin—comfortable, well set up, and the perfect place to unwind after a long day in the field. Hillview Hut has its own charm as well, being a rustic shearing shed converted into a farmhouse-style stay. It’s got that authentic, country feel while still being practical and comfortable for hunters.
What makes the experience even better is the way the property is run. The owner is extremely welcoming, easy to deal with, and genuinely passionate about providing a top-quality hunting experience. Hillview Hut
Hillview Hut offers the chance for 8 – 10 people to enjoy a wonderful natural environment experience in a cozy 100m2 eco-cabin. It is a perfect escape for horse trail riders, bird watchers, wildlife lovers, nature enthusiasts seeking privacy and fossickers.

- Access to over 2000 acres of private land
- Abundant wildlife and birdlife (platypi nearby)
- Close proximity to Torrington National Park and fossicking areas (permit required)

Cabin Information
Location: 2202 Wellington Vale Road, Emmaville, NSW 2371
Access: 2WD vehicles possible, but 4WD vehicles preferred as the hut is located 4 kms in from the entrance to the property.
Bedrooms: One double bedroom and one bedroom with three single, double bunks. Up to two people can also be accommodated with their own swags.
Other rooms: Kitchen, Living Room with Dining Table, Bathroom with toilet, bath, vanity and wash basin.
Amenities
Kitchen: Fridge, oven and stove, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pans, pots, free coffee and tea, drinking water, matches and lighter.
Heating: Fireplace with free firewood supplied. No airconditioning.
Internet: There is no wifi access, but phone reception is available at the hut.
Cost
There is a minimum stay of two nights for a price of $600 ( 2 people), plus $100 per extra person/night. Payment is by Cash ONLY upon arrival.

Frenchies Hut
Frenchies Hut offers an amazing opportunity for 4 – 6 people to enjoy a magnificent immersion in nature in a cozy 50m2 eco-cabin. It is a perfect escape for horse trail riders, bird watchers, wildlife lovers, photographers nature enthusiasts, fossickers and those wanting to ‘digitally detox’ for a few days.

- Horse yard suitable for 2 – 3 horses and close proximity to excellent horse trails
- Spectacular bush views and open landscapes
- Access to over 2000 acres of private land
- Abundant wildlife and birdlife (platypi nearby)

- Access to excellent fishing spots within a 50km radius; and

Access: 4WD vehicles ONLY as the hut is located 3 kms in from the entrance to the property.
Bedrooms: One bedroom with single bed and one queen/single double bunk. Up to two people can also be accommodated with their own swags.
Other rooms: Kitchen, Living Room with Dining Table. Outside amenities block with toilet, bath, vanity and wash basin.
Electricity: Electricity is supplied to Frenchies Hut via a diesel generator (diesel supplied).
Amenities
Kitchen: Gas cooker, cutlery, pan, pot, cups for free coffee and tea, drinking water, matches and lighter.
Heating: Fireplace with free firewood supplied. No airconditioning.
Internet: There is NO wifi access, or phone reception available at the hut. Text messages may be sent from a few hills on the property.
Cost
There is a minimum stay of two nights for a price of $400 (2 people), plus $100 per extra person/night. Payment is by Cash ONLY upon arrival.
